TuneChief™ ("TuneChief," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of Proxy Software Group LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website at tunechief.com and our app (together, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. Information we collect

Much of your app data (your logbook, setups, and settings) is stored locally on your own device in your browser and is not sent to our servers unless a feature specifically requires it.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
- To process payments, subscriptions, and passes.
- To send you the information you asked for (beta access, founder pricing, product updates) and to respond to you.
- To power AI features — content you send to the Crew Chief is transmitted to our AI provider to generate a response.
- To protect the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with the law.
3. AI features
When you use the AI Crew Chief (including datalog analysis), the text and files you submit are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate a response. We send only what's needed to answer you. Please don't submit information you consider highly sensitive.
4. Service providers we share with
We don't sell your personal information. We share limited data only with vendors who help us run the Service:
- Netlify — website hosting and our email signup form.
- Anthropic — AI processing for Crew Chief features.
- Stripe — payment processing.
Each provider handles your data under its own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use browser local storage to make the app work (for example, to save your logbook on your device). We keep cookies to a minimum and don't use them to sell your data.
6. Data retention
We keep your email and account-related information for as long as you use the Service or as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymize it. Data stored locally on your device stays until you clear it.
7. Your choices & rights
- Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in the email or by contacting us.
- Request a copy of your personal information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing admin@tunechief.com.
- Clear your on-device data anytime through your browser.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the GDPR, or the CCPA. We honor applicable requests.
8. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child provided us personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the effective date. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
